¹⁴For we are made partakers of Christ, if we hold the beginning of our confidence steadfast unto the end;

¹⁴We have come to share in Christ if we hold firmly till the end the confidence we had at first.

¹⁵經上說：「你們今日若聽他的話，就不可硬著心，像惹他發怒的日子一樣。」

¹⁵While it is said, To day if ye will hear his voice, harden not your hearts, as in the provocation.

¹⁵As has just been said: "Today, if you hear his voice, do not harden your hearts as you did in the rebellion."

在NIV中的rebellion沒有惹他發怒 和provocation 的意思。但 rebellion 的意思比惹他發怒和provocation更強烈。

¹⁶For some, when they had heard, did provoke: howbeit not all that came out of Egypt by Moses.

¹⁶Who were they who heard and rebelled? Were they not all those Moses led out of Egypt?
